Azienda Agricola Ca' Maddalena started as a concept back in 2002 and from the very beginning, the farm rears cattle and pigs.
After two years of renovation works on an old 1600s farmhouse, we opened in July 2004 our Holiday Farm with restaurant, guestrooms and swimming pool. This is how our "Zero Kilometer" project begun: the meat that we produce in our small farm is employed in the restaurant of our Agriturismo and used to produce cured meats.
From the beginning of our project, our first priority has been the respect and care of our animals: our cows and pigs are reared in a half-wild condition and are feeded with cereals and fodder at km 0 with no use of antibiotics.
Thank to this way of rearing, we obtain excellent meat and high quality cured meats and we ethically distinguish ourselves from intensive breeding.
If you want to taste our meats, you have no choice but to come and visit us, but you have the possibility to taste our excellent cold cuts directly at home!
